The site would be located at 3100 Laurel Street and 830-842 Eighth Street, and currently has two buildings on three lots.  The structures are 3,000 and 5,000 square feet, and currently has a sculpture garden, pool, a carport, and a 2 car driveway.

The owner is Dr. Tlaloc Alferez, who has lived at the site for 30 years.

The City Planning Commission unanimously approved the proposed bed-and-breakfast, sending it to City Council for the final decision.
