Perrier Esquerré Contractors, an expanding design-build firm based in New Orleans, has finalized its 11,400-square-foot headquarters and fabrication shop at 4900 Jefferson Highway in Jefferson Parish. This development marks a significant local expansion for the private sector firm.

The newly completed facility comprises a 5,400-square-foot office and a 6,000-square-foot fabrication area. The project involved adaptive reuse of an existing building, including façade enhancements and electric service adjustments handled in collaboration with Entergy. Construction is valued at approximately $1.41 million, with work commencing in March 2025.

Perrier Esquerré worked alongside design partners Flynn Architects and Atelier Design to achieve the transformation. Project management was led by Erin Bordelon. This move supports the company’s strategic relocation of its corporate headquarters to a more versatile site.

The creation of this combined office and fabrication space is seen as a boost to local commercial real estate, targeting contractors and industrial landlords, as well as investors interested in adaptive reuse projects. It reflects a positive outlook on the demand for office and industrial workspaces in the area.

Although the project is completed, details about the next steps such as occupancy or ribbon-cutting have not been disclosed. This newly-inaugurated facility positions Perrier Esquerré for potential growth in workforce and project opportunities, hinting at a stronger presence in New Orleans’ commercial real estate scene moving forward.
