Tulane University’s A. B. Freeman School of Business last week broke ground on the $35 million expansion of its business school.
The project will add/renovate about 45,000 square feet to the space to Goldring/Woldenburg Hall I and II. The project also includes a four-story expansion and slick new glass facade. You can check out plans and renderings here.
The expansion will include a new incubator space for student startups and a new home for the Lepage Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Also included will be flexible classrooms, expanded breakout rooms, a new financial analysis lab, and a larger Career Management Center.
Construction is expected to be complete by early 2018.
The design and planning team includes Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects and Manning Architects as the planning consultants and architects of record, Harmon Engineering, GVA Engineering, and Spackman Mossop and Michaels as the landscape architect.
