New Orleans-based developer Gulf Coast Housing Partnership filed plans with the city for a 65,000 square foot health clinic at 1631 Elysian Fields Avenue.
The project will be developed by Gulf Coast Housing Partnership in partnership with CrescentCare, which will operate the facility. CrescentCare is a community health center that offers a full spectrum of quality care at low to no cost to the entire community with or without insurance.
The health campus aspect of the project will have a pharmacy, conference rooms, training rooms, supportive housing workspace, a testing center, wellness rooms, a laboratory, a dental lab, counseling facilities, a women’s health clinic.
The three-story project will also feature an unnamed bank branch, bicycle parking, and a large parking lot for cars. The entire lot is roughly 42,000 square feet.
The project filed its stormwater management proposal with the city on April 24, 2017. The project represents some sorely needed healthcare amenities for this area of the city.
