Rendering of the new expansion of the St Tammany Parish Hospital

St. Tammany Parish Hospital has announced that it will break ground on a new four-story, $53 million expansion at its facility in Covington.

The new expansion will add 159,000 additional square feet.  The new space will add new critical care and medical beds, new administrative offices, and new conference areas.  It will be the largest expansion in decades for the hospital that originally opened in 1954.  The fourth floor will be a white box space for future expansion.
