Last month we wrote about a new brewery planned along the soon to open Lafitte Greenway located at 2606 St Louis Street.

The vacant and abandoned old industrial laundry facility on the Lafitte Greenway is scheduled to be converted into a brewery, tap room, restaurant and offices byGreen Coast Enterprises and other developers.

If the deal goes through, the primary tenant of the 32,000 square foot building would be Urban South Brewery, a startup brewery led by entrepreneur Jacob Landry.  The site would also feature a restaurant (no operator yet), and office space or apartments.
