The New Orleans chapter of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) has hosted some great events over the last year, including a behind-the-scenes tour of the Hibernia Tower development, an inside look at the future of the Bywater and in real estate financing in NOLA, and a primer on Tax Credit finance.

CREW’s latest summer luncheon focuses on the $6.5 billion in new real estate development that has occurred downtown since 2006.

The July 15th panel will  feature Kurt Weigle, President and CEO of the Downtown Development District of New Orleans, who will bring us up to date on the ever changing face of Downtown New Orleans and provide valuable insights into what opportunities for doing business in New Orleans are yet to come.

Weigle will discuss all the new investment, the doubling of downtown’s residential population, and the moew than 50 new retail establishments that have opened their doors.
