The Kenner City Council last Thursday (July 23) approved a seven-building, 48,000-square-foot commercial development at the intersection of Williams Boulevard and Joe Yenni Boulevard.  Planet Fitness is the anchor tenant and will take up to 24,000 square feet.

Developer Jody Grass is behind the development.  Grass is the owner of construction firm Allied Building Co.

Grass has been involved in many other projects around New Orleans, including the mixed-use development at 2802 Magazine Street and Kenner’s Laketown redevelopment.
