The Urban Land Institute’s 7th Annual “What’s Really Going On” Conference is coming up, and you should probably be there.

This discussion gives a great overview of all the development and happenings going on in the New Orleans area.  It also  features national guest speakers Andrew Warren, Director of Real Estate Research at PwC, a presentation from Jim Nickel, principal with Courson Nickel, and a detailed panel discussing the relationship between the real estate environment and our political climate in Louisiana.  Panel participants include Melissa Gibbs, Gibbs Construction, Larry Schedler, Larry G. Schedler & Associates,  Katy Reynolds, the Vivelan Group, and John Schroder of Mauti Meredith Scoggin Properties.

Attendees will also receive the “What’s Really Going On” Development tracker, which is a list of major real estate projects in the New Orleans metropolitan area over $5,000,000. These developments are in all sectors: retail, multi family, office, industrial, or municipal.  If you have a project, you can actually submit it to them by sending an email to Kimberly Ferrari, (kferrari@tulane.edu) describing the nature of the project or you can click here and submit via the web.

You can sign up for the conference here, and you can check out the list of attendees here.  Event details below.
