The site at 1017 Marigny Street where plans have been filed for a new three story hotel.
Plans were filed yesterday (March 6, 2017) for a proposed three story hotel with 18 rooms at 1017 Marigny Street in the Marigny.
The plans were filed by Architect Rick Fifield, who is known throughout the city for great historic renovation work.
We don’t have much info about the project, other than the little info we can gather from the application, which states “Construct a new three-story, 18 room hotel on the vacant site as per schematic design drawings dated 3/3/17.” The plans were submitted for Historic District Landmark’s Commission review.
The owner of the vacant land at 1017 Marigny is Olde Town Management, LLC, which is also the group that owns the adjacent Old Town Inn at 2311 Rampart Street.
