Phoenix Grappling Academy, founded by Chuck and Shana Stall, has officially opened its doors within Premier Fitness at 1909 Airline Drive, Metairie. The new addition began operations on November 3, bringing a fresh wave of private-sector leasing activity to the bustling Airline Drive commercial corridor in Jefferson Parish.
Located inside Premier Fitness, the academy offers Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and wrestling classes for both children and adults. The establishment by local entrepreneurs Chuck and Shana Stall marks a significant step in enhancing the tenant mix along this notable Metairie stretch.
The development indicates a steady demand for commercial space in the area, making it relevant for brokers and property managers monitoring leasing momentum and tenant activity. In addition to driving weekday foot traffic, fitness-related tenants like Phoenix Grappling Academy can stimulate ancillary retail spending, a point of interest for retail property owners.
While details such as lease terms, square footage, and rent have not been disclosed, the opening illustrates the vibrancy of small-business tenancy in Jefferson Parish. The location plays a crucial role in the broader context of Greater New Orleans’ retail and investment landscape, particularly impacting suburban commercial corridors.
As local community engagement rises with this new opening, the transaction signifies an evolving dynamic in the region’s retail and commercial real estate patterns. Further analysis into lease economics and market impacts could provide valuable insights into future development opportunities along Airline Drive.
