The Central City Housing Development Corp. has proposed a $4million, 34-unit development at Felicity and Saratoga streets.
The new project, named the Ellis Smith and Louis Martin Plaza, is already zoned for multi-family developments, and the developers will be seeking reduced parking requirements to allow for higher density. They presented to the neighborhood association last week.
Financing for the project will come, in part, through a relationship with HUD.
The project will replace some senior housing units at scattered sites around Central City.
