True Food Kitchen, the health-driven, seasonal restaurant backed by Oprah, will be the anchor tenant at The Julia, a new $50 million mixed-use building being constructed in the Warehouse District.

This will be the first Louisiana location for the Arizona-based restaurant brand with 23 other locations across the country.  True Food Kitchen features a variety of healthy and nutritious foods, and caters to many dietary preferences like  gluten-free, organic, and vegan.  The new location at The Julia will encompass over 6,000 square feet plus a 2,000 square foot outdoor patio.  Landing True Food was a huge win for the city and for Audubon Capital Partners, the owners and developers of the project.

The Julia will feature 198 apartments, 150 parking spaces, 16,000 square feet of retail, and 11,000 square feet of landscaped courtyards.  The development is set to open in the 2nd Quarter of 2019.

Stuart Zall and Gerardo Aguinis with Denver-based The Zall Company, and Carly Plotkin and Joe Gardner with Stirling Properties represented The Julia in the transaction.
