An architect representing the owners of a warehouse district building at 527 St. Joseph has applied to the HDLC to add a 4th floor penthouse to the existing 3 story structure.

Diane Hickman with Mouton, Long & Turner Architects filed the application, and the penthouse looks great!

Plans filed with the city call for adding an entire new 5,000 square foot 4th floor to the existing 15,000 square foot building, along with a roof deck.  The new floor would add two residential penthouses, each 2 bed, 2 bath.

The current building houses 5 apartments units.  The 2 bedrooms go for roughly $2500/month, or $2.square foot, according to a recent listing.

You can check out the full renovation plans here.
