Camp Bow Wow is Officially Open in Mid-City

Camp Bow Wow, a leading pet care company, has opened its highly anticipated Mid-City location at 3301 Conti Street.

Camp Bow Wow is the largest pet care franchise with over 150 locations from California to Connecticut, including additional locations throughout Louisiana.

The new facility is a brand new, 10,000 square foot, state-of-the-art custom facility. There is 3,500 square feet of outdoor play space for the dogs as well as luxury suits, large cabins, dog pools, and more.

“We chose Mid-City for its perfect confluence of working professionals, families and millennials. Mid-City is growing wildly and with that growth is the ever-present love the Mid-City residents have for their dogs,” Angelle Crochet, co-owner of Camp Bow Wow Mid-City, told Canal Street Beat.

Crochet partnered with Herbert Dyer (The Velvet Cactus, The Bulldog and Lager’s) and Rusty White for the project.

“We looked at similar franchises but we felt most comfortable with Camp Bow Wow’s safety report card for the dogs in their care,”Crochet continued.

The owners have also bought a second territory near the New Orleans airport and plan to expand with a second location there.
