The owner of land at the corner of Harrison and Pontchartrain Blvd. is pre-leasing for a newly proposed retail development.

The developer, Landcraft, LLC, has proposed a 3,521 square foot building that’s designed for a restaurant or retailer.  It’s a prime location at the hard corner, and has 8-11 off-street parking spaces.  There is also the possibility of an outdoor patio.

Landcraft’s owner, Joseph Scontrino, told Canal Street Beat that they have a lot interest from several different restaurant tenants, although nothing has been signed yet.  They expect delivery of the project in the first quarter of 2018.

The property is listed for lease by Matt Eaton and Peter Lombardo of RE/MAX, and they are asking $30/square foot NNN for the space.  Brian E. Anderson is the architect.

Harrison and Lakeview have seen a lot of activity lately, with the opening of  District Donuts last year and a host of other great spots like Lakeview Pearl Sushi, Mondo, Cava, Lakeview Harbor, and the Velvet Cactus.
