The proposed bicycle-friendly beer and wine garden to be built on the Lafitte Greenway has applied for construction permits to start building, according to Mid City Messenger.

According to Mid-City Messenger, the bar is still unnamed, although city filings have termed the bar Wrong Iron Bar.  The entrepreneurs behind the project include Billy Good, Herbert Dyer and Chris Young.  The site is owned by an entity controlled by Hicham Khodr, local entrepreneur, real estate investor, and restauranteur.

The bar will include 4,280 square feet of space, a large outdoor patio with fire pits, trees, and heaters, along with an indoor bar and mezzanine section.  The total site is over 17,000 square feet and it will have parking for 60 bicycles.

Graham/Little/Studio is the architect and Entablature is the general contractor.
