Our friends at Mid-City Messenger are reporting that the demolition of the Capri Motel has kicked off on Tulane Avenue.
The Capri Motel’s new owners plan to replace it with a 200-unit apartment complex after they demolish it.
There are lots of other happenings on Tulane Avenue recently, including Feil’s $5.6 million acquisition of land and buildings near the Capri, an $11 million street scape program underway that will add bike lanes, the demolition of an abandoned building to make way for new retail, a new credit union office building going up, and a new public works building built by the City,
