The New Orleans Architecture Foundation is hosting a seminar tonight to better educate people on the Commercial Historic Tax Credits program and its process.
The seminar is in partnership with AIA New Orleans, and features a panel of local experienced professionals who will present their roles in part 1 of the 3 part application process.
Even though the Commercial Historic Tax Credits program is not a new program, there seems to still be a lot of questions about the program by building owners, design professionals, developers, contractors and others.
Questions like Who is it for? How can it help me? How do you get a tax credit? will be answered at the seminar. The panel will feature representatives from the State Historic Preservation Office, a local architect, a legal representative and a member of the financial field who will discuss major points in their role of the process.
Wednesday, April 6
6:00-7:30 p.m.
AIA Center for Design, 1000 St. Charles Avenue
This event is $5 for AIA Members and $10 for Non-Members.
