Medical Office New Construction Breaks Ground

Construction started on the new Louisiana Pain Specialist Medical office building at Houma Boulevard close to East Jefferson Hospital.

Gulf States Real Estate Services is the developer and its sister company, Innovative Construction Services, the contractor. Real estate veteran Mike Saucier is the owner of both companies.

The 37,000-square-foot medical office building at 3530 Houma Blvd. will be anchored by the 17,000-square-foot Louisiana Pain Specialists Clinic, Surgery Center and Management Service Organization.

The development also includes an additional 17,000 square feet for other medical offices. The developer is asking $35/SF according to the listing.

HMS Architects of New Orleans is the architect on the design of both the shell buildings and pain clinic interior build out.

The entire tract was subdivided into six lots. The Louisiana Pain Specialist clinic is on one acre, with the remaining lots open for future development. The master plan calls for eventually developing the entire site into a small business park.
