Developer Butler Callahan Holdings is proposing a new 13-story hotel at 1020 Annunciation Street.

The developer recently filed plans for review by the Historic District Landmark Committee’s  Architectural Review Committee.  Plans filed show a new construction 13 story hotel rising at 1020 Annunciation Street and on adjacent parcels.  The hotel will feature a penthouse that reaches 125 feet, 8 floors of hotel rooms, and two floors of lobby, bar, lounge, and amenities.

According to city records, Butler Callahan purchased the parcel in 2013 for $860,000.  Butler also owns the adjacent parcel at 1038 Annunciation and across the street at 1031 Annunciation.

The proposed hotel sits next to the site where developer Josh Bruno is building a $20 million “sliver” high-end condo building.

Eskew+Dumez+Ripple is the architect.
