New Orleans-based Palmisano Group, the commercial general contractor, announced last week that their new headquarters was ready for occupancy.  CSB staffers have been by the site many times, and it looks like a beautiful building.

The firm broke ground on the Lower Garden District headquarters at 1730 Tchoupitoulas in early 2017.  The new 30,000 square foot facility designed by Eskew+Dumez+Ripple will house over 100 employees.  The offices feature an open floor plan, multiple small and large conference rooms, a large outdoor terrace, in-house gym and yoga studio and green space.

Palmisano purchased the property for $1.5 million in 2015 from Baton Rouge-based Source Capital LLC.  In addition to Eskew+Dumez+Ripple,, Morphy Makofsky, Inc., YKM Consulting, LLC, and Schrenck, Endom & Flanagan, LLC are the engineers.  Landscape design by Daly Subletee.

The total project cost was $9 million.  Palmisano had originally sought a Payment in Lieu of Taxes from the Industrial Development Board, but decided to proceed without it.
