New Development Spurring CBD Renaissance [Video]

The long vacant Oil & Gas building sold in December for $7 million.  The developer plans a new hotel.

The abandoned Rault Center building at 1111 Gravier St. recently sold for $5.5 million and the developer plans a new 185-key boutique hotel.

 The NOPSI building sold for $11.6 million, also slated for a hotel.

In an interview with WWL-TV,  New Orleans City Council member LaToya Cantrell talks about development, momentum, growth, and opportunities in the CBD.  Downtown Development District Director Kurt Weigle also weighs in.
