New Orleans is one of the top 10 cities for millenials living alone, according to a new report from real estate data company Zillow.
Zillow’s report shows that 13.4 percent of New Orleans millennials are living alone. Data was pulled from 2014 Census data.
The top cities “are places where young adults can easily find jobs at a competitive salary, and where housing expenses won’t eat up the majority of their income, enabling them to save more.”
Other cities in the top ten include Pittsburgh, Buffalo, Columbus (Ohio), Virginia Beach, Cleveland, Austin, Kansas City, and Oklahoma City.
