A new three-story commercial is planned to replace a parking lot at 4210 Magazine Street, according to our friends at Uptown Messenger.

Architect Jared Bowers of Albert Architects told neighbors last week that the first floor would be built as a “white box” for a new commercial tenant, the second floor will have two apartments, and the owners will live in a third floor penthouse.

The building will also have a gated three car lot in the back of the property.  The third floor will be set back from the street, so it only looks like a two story building from the ground.

It’s great to see this kind of in-fill development on Magazine Street.   The owner is French Quarter resident Robert Watters.
