Eyeware company Warby Parker is opening its latest concept shop, the Warby Parker Frame Studio, in New Orleans on Saturday, April 11th.

This will be the company’s first location in Louisiana, located at 3964 Magazine Street.

Warby Parker’s primarily online ecommerce operation allowed them to keep costs low from the beginning, but they’ve recently ventured into brick-and-mortar locations for the past few years with significant success.

They opened their first physical showroom in SoHo in 2012, and have since expanded to Boston, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Atlanta, and Boston.

The frame studio concept was first unveiling last fall in Chicago. “We couldn’t think of a better spot than New Orleans for our sophomore location,” a company representative shared.

Customers will be able to choose their favorite pair of frames and have their photo snapped by a professional photographer–completely free of charge– on location.

Warby Parker pained “Smile New Orleans” on the front of the store just this past week. The company is encouraging customers and fans to follow along with the hashtag #SmileNewOrleans.
