The Tracage development, a 16-story luxury apartment tower planned for the Warehouse District at 1100 Annunciation Street, looks like it’s finally back on track.

Jackson, Mississippi-based Spectrum Capital’s team recently filed an amendment to the development for HDLC approval.  The filing proposes to amend previously approved plans including new design elements for garage screens, balcony railings, and north side elevation changes.  The new designs look great.  Check out the renderings below.

The project has been bogged down in lawsuits that prevented its construction for years.  The project was originally announced right after Katrina, only to have a lawsuit filed by nearby property owners seeking to prevent it from coming to life.  That suit was finally resolved, and the developers went back to the drawing board and received approval from the city for a revised 16 story high-rise in early 2014.

The developers finally broke ground on the project in 2014, only to have another lawsuit filed.

Word on the street is that the lawsuit is finally coming to a resolution, and the developers are now back on track with their building plans.

Trapolin Peer is the architect.  Check out the renderings below.
