Yacht builder Trinity Yachts has put their shipyard facility on the market for $17,500,000.

The facility, located at 4325 France Road on the Industrial Canal, includes 37.5 fenced acres of heavy industrial land, 3 acres of parking along France Rd. and 6 acres in the Industrial Canal, with 2,631′ water frontage, several slips and numerous buildings totaling over 400,000 SqFt, according to a property listing on LACDB.com.  There is also about 10,000 square feet of office space.

The original “Higgins Boats” were manufactured here in the 1940’s for the United States military, which were used in D-Day by American forces to land on the beaches of Normandy.

Trinity has operated out of the facility in recent times to build their fleet of luxury yachts.  They were acquired over the summer by Harvey Gulf International Marine.  Apparently the Trinity Yachts name, brand, and ship designs are all up for sale as well for the cool price of $30,000,000.

The property is being marketed by James Barse of  NAI/Latter & Blum Commercial. You can check out the flyer for the property Trinity Yachts Flyer (flyer via Latter & Blum Commercial).
