The proposed micro-distillery called Broad Street Cider & Ale secured initial approval from city officials this week according to our friends at Uptown Messenger.
Plans call for turning the vacant building at 2723 South Broad Street in to a “cidery”, which would feature freshly brewed hard cider, along with other alcoholic beverages for consumption on or off the premises.
The building is owned by Green Coast Enterprises, and is part of their redevelopment cluster which includes Propeller and Laurel Street Bakery.
