The Hilton Garden Inn New Orleans French Quarter/CBD and the Courtyard Marriott at 300 Julia Street have wrapped up renovations that give them a fresh makeover.

The Hilton renovations logged in at $22,580/key, which included 155 guest rooms with an additional 2000 square feet of meeting spaces costing $3.5 million dollars. Guests can now enjoy the open flow lobby that hosts dining alongside other guests allowing for guest interaction in a relaxed and comfortable space.

The Courtyard, once a sugar and molasses factory, is sweeter then ever with their 192 rooms and 10 suites that have all been designed to offer their guest comfort and modern furnishings. They even added 5 meeting rooms for those meetings that just can’t wait. This hotel is 3,873 square feet and hosts a lobby that was designed for relaxing or socializing.

Publicly traded REIT Summit Hotel Properties Inc. purchased the Courtyard Marriott earlier this year as part of a five-hotel portfolio deal in Louisiana for $135 Million.  Summit Hotel Properties, Inc. is a publicly traded real estate investment trust focused primarily on acquiring and owning premium-branded select-service hotels in the upscale and upper midscale segments of the lodging industry.
